Lodging, Sauna & Dining  

Tent lodging

Tent spots are on a grass lawn, and some tent spots are covered by beautiful grape vines. 

​

Tent lodging is included for the registration fee for the whole family (1 or more tents). 

​

Tent spots are well placed near the bathrooms, Sauna & shower building and dining area.

​

Day time temperatures will be hot in August. Night time temperatures cool after sundown.

 

We recommend the following supplies

  • Ground cover

  • Cot or air mattress

  • Sleeping bag/blanket

  • Pillows

  • Lantern or tent light

  • Water bottles for kids and adults (Hauli Huvila has spring water for drinking)

  • Folding chair & small table

  • Towels and swimsuits

  • Life vests

  • Toiletries

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses

  • Bug spray

Cabin lodging

Cabins (6) have a queen bed or two full beds, small bathroom (toilet and sink, no shower), fridge, microwave and AC.

 

Family cabin (1) has two queen beds, small bathroom(toilet and sink, no shower), fridge, microwave, AC.

Before leaving home from the Suomi-koulu Camp, please remember to take all your belongings with you and clean the cabin. 

 

Add $160, if you want to have cabin (2 nights)

Add $320, if you want to have family cabin (2 nights)

RV lodging

RV spots have an electric hookup, and water, but no sewage or dump.

​

Add $70 for the registration fee, if you want to have a RV-spot (2 nights).

 

We recommend to bring

  • AC 120V adapter (220V not available).

  • Clean hose for water hookup

  • Sleeping bags /blankets

  • Pillows

  • Water bottles for kids and adults (Hauli Huvila has spring water for drinking)

  • Towel and swimsuit

  • Life vests

  • Toiletries

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses

  • Bug spray

Sauna and dining area

During the Suomi-koulu Camp kids and adults can enjoy Sauna and swimming on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Showers and saunas are open all day. 

​

There are two Saunas in Hauli Huvila. One for girls and one for boys. Showers are located in the Sauna area. Please remember to bring your own toiletries (shampoo, shower gel). You can leave your towels and swimsuits to dry outside in the sauna building.

 

Swimming in the river is allowed only when parents / guardians are present. We highly recommend to use life vest during swimming for kids 10 years old and younger.​

​

All the meals will be served in the dining area. When you hear the bell ring, it is time to eat! Remember to tell us your allergies/special diet in the registration form. Campers will also enjoy some treats by the fire on Friday and Saturday night! 

​

Let's keep our environment nice and clean during the camp! Please remember to take care of your trash and let us know is you see any cleaning issues. 

​

We will have an ice cream and snack bar at the camp! You can pay with cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal on the last day, Sunday, to close your tap!
